Club 20 Spring Conference to be Held April 13

Club 20 will host the 2024 Spring Conference on April 13, at The Marriot Courtyard, 765 Horizon Drive, Grand Junction, Colorado.

The Spring Conference provides members and guests the opportunity to meet with local, state and federally elected and appointed officials and to learn first-hand about various issues impacting our region.

At this year’s conference, Club 20 will host a variety of conversations ranging from Immigration to Wolves and the Dolores River National Monument.

We are excited by the broad array of presenters, including:

• Kathy Chandler-Henry – Chair of the Colorado River Drought Task Force
• Panel Discussion – Immigration Impacts on Business and Rural Communities
• Panel Discussion – Clean Heat Plans with Xcel Energy, Atmos Energy, and Black Hills Energy
• Panel Discussion – Wolf Update Now that Paws are on the Ground with CPW Staff
• President John Marshall – Colorado Mesa University
• PRO/CON Discussion – Dolores River National Monument

“These issues have a direct impact on Western Colorado, and these are the stories of our past, present, and future way of life. All West Slope citizens should get engaged, make their voice heard, and fight to protect what makes our communities so special” said Brittany Dixon, Club 20 Executive Director.

In conjunction with the Spring Conference, on the evening of Friday, April 12, Club 20 will honor
longtime members for their service to the organization and Western Colorado during the annual Club 20 Awards & Recognition Banquet at the Courtyard by Marriot. The banquet is attended by Western Slope community leaders, appointed and elected officials, friends and family of the recipients and attendees of the Club 20 Spring Conference.
