Let’s Get Ready For Back-to-School!
Pagosa Community Initiative is excited to share the details of our 2026 Back-to-School Fair.
Over the past several months, we’ve been working hard to make PCI’s Back-to-School Fair a fun, welcoming, and helpful event for local families. We can’t wait to welcome everyone on Saturday, August 22, from 10:00am –3:00pm at Pagosa Springs High School.
This FREE event is designed to help students start the school year with confidence by providing:
Free haircuts (by appointment)
School supply giveaway (first come, first served)
Resources and information for families
Haircut registration is now open! Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your child’s appointment early. Click here to make your appointment.
Haircut Registration Information:
- Registration is for hair services only. School supplies will be distributed during the event on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Please register each school-aged child separately.
- If your child has long or thick hair, please reserve two consecutive appointment slots to allow enough time.
- Hair must be clean and dry upon arrival. Hair washing will not be available.
- Haircuts are completely free. While never expected, tips are always appreciated by our volunteer stylists who are generously donating their time.
If your child is unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer the appointment to another family. Late arrivals may forfeit their appointment to a child on the waitlist or a walk-in.
After registering, you’ll receive a confirmation email with additional event details within two business days.
