Wolf Creek Pass Remains Closed; Ski Area Open

Wolf Creek Ski Area has received 8″ of fresh snow in the last 24 hours for a new storm total of 53″. The all-natural snow depth is 163″ at the midway with a year-to-date total snowfall of 462″. Conditions are excellent with Powder/Packed Powder and extensive grooming throughout the mountain.

Wolf Creek Pass remains closed on the West Side, with delays on the East Side of the Pass. The Ski Area website, wolfcreekski.com, will be updated with any new information about this closure.

Crews are performing mitigation and snow removal operations today on the west side of the pass. No estimated time of opening. Skier traffic is allowed on the east side of the pass between the ski area and Southfork. However, skiers should be aware that intermittent spot closures may occur periodically when crews are performing snow removal to keep that side of the pass open. No commercial big rigs are allowed to travel past the South Fork gate.

Wolf Creek Ski Area is 100% open 7-days a week for the 2022-2023 ski season.
