The Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College is heading into fall with a 2026–27 season that kicks off with a big opening, builds toward a packed December, and continues well into spring.
It all kicks off September 18 with ‘Get the Led Out’, bringing the music of Led Zeppelin to the Concert Hall stage and launching a season filled with music, dance, longtime traditions and artists audiences may have waited years to see.
And that is only the beginning.
December alone offers Southwest Colorado plenty of reasons to make a night of it. The Nutcracker returns December 11–13, continuing a holiday tradition that has become part of the season for families across the region. The Bar D Wranglers Christmas Jubilee follows on December 19, bringing homegrown Western music, humor and Christmas spirit to the stage.
Then, on December 21, Judy Collins comes to Durango as part of her final tour, offering local audiences the chance to experience one of American music’s most enduring voices in a remarkable farewell chapter of her career.
And the season doesn’t end there.
The new year brings more to the Concert Hall stage, including Boots, Bows & The Big Stage, a special 30th-anniversary fundraiser that unites the Bar D Wranglers and the San Juan Symphony for a uniquely Southwest Colorado celebration.
And now, there are two more reasons to look ahead.
The Community Concert Hall is adding Kathy Mattea & Suzy Bogguss: Together at Last, coming March 21 at 7:30pm. Two celebrated voices in country and Americana music will come together for an evening of songs, stories, and the musical friendship they have built over decades of performing.
The Concert Hall’s Backstage Pass Series will also welcome Emily Scott Robinson on June 12 at 7:30pm. Robinson brings songwriting crafted for the intimate Backstage Pass setting — thoughtful, beautifully crafted songs shared with an audience close enough to catch every word.
From the opening chords of Get the Led Out in September to an intimate evening with Robinson in June, the 2026–27 season is shaping up to be one of those years when the question may not be what we should see? It may be how many nights can we fit in?

The Community Concert Hall is a not-for-profit, multi-use performance venue located on the campus of Fort Lewis College. Its ability to bring a diverse spectrum of shows to Southwest Colorado is made possible through a partnership with the college, a state-supported, independent institution of higher education, and financial and in-kind contributions from generous community members.
