Growing Spaces, maker of Growing Dome® geodesic greenhouse kits, announced this week that it has earned Certified B Corporation™ status, effective April 29, 2026.

Certified B Corporations are verified by B Lab™ for meeting standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. Certification requires a verified score of at least 80 points on the B Impact Assessment and supporting documentation for material claims. Growing Spaces, a division of Perennial Harvest LLC, earned an overall B Impact™ Score of 82.2, with its strongest score in the Environment category.

Based on a review of the public B Corp™ directory, Growing Spaces appears to be one of very few currently certified greenhouse manufacturers.  (B Lab does not verify category exclusivity claims.)  Growing Spaces’ public B Corp profile is available in the B Corp Directory.

Growing Spaces pursued certification to formalize its long-standing commitment to durable products, employee well-being, and greenhouse designs that help people grow food in more places and seasons.

“B Corp certification required us to document, defend, and improve on claims we have made for decades,” said Gary Hall, owner of Growing Spaces. “We came out with a clearer picture of where we are strong and where we still have work to do. Recertification every three years will keep that pressure on.”

Growing Spaces must recertify every three years to maintain Certified B Corporation status.
