Get ready for a dazzling evening of fun, glamour and community spirit at the Pagosa Community Initiative’s (PCI) fourth annual ‘Second Chance Prom’.
Join us on the red carpet for a sparkling “Night in Hollywood” on May 16 at 7pm at 451 Hot Springs Blvd.
This beloved fundraiser, PCI’s biggest event of the year, transforms the Ross Aragon Community Center into your second chance at prom.
Open to all community members 21 and older, this isn’t just a party — it’s a chance to dance, connect and support Archuleta County’s trusted family resource center. PCI
delivers essential services like child care, mental health support, youth programs and family resources that strengthen families from the ground up.
Vote for your favorite among five local couples competing for prom queen and king. Cast your vote at www.givebutter.com/PCIProm2026 and help crown the royalty of the night.
Our candidates this year are: Kevin and Sunshine Blue, Kim and Allen Domingo, Kevin and Julia Wood, Carli and Adam Luhrs, and Kari and Scott Burkett.
“Prom is more than a night of celebration,”said Carrie Blue-White, PCI’s board chair. “Our goal this year is $45,000, which will go towards vital resources for youth and families in Archuleta County like free after-school child care, mental health, parent education, emergency funds for families and other family resources.”
Whether you’re volunteering, donating or strutting your stuff on the dance floor, Second Chance Prom celebrates community resilience and generosity.
Tickets and details are at the Givebutter website or on the PCI website: www.pagosacommunityinitiative.org.
Mark your calendars and join the fun benefiting a worthy organization in Archuleta County.
