Melissa Lee

Our Keynote Speaker is Melissa Lee.

What does it take to lead when the oxygen is thin and the stakes are soaring? Melissa knows firsthand. Born in the Alaskan bush and seasoned as a mountaineer on the world’s highest peaks, Melissa’s career is a testament to resilience and adaptability.

As the former CEO of a niche, off-airport flight school, she navigated the complexities of a high-consequence industry while earning her wings as a pilot. She is an expert at overseeing complex systems within the public education sector for over a decade, Melissa believes that every challenge is an opportunity for growth. Currently a Doctoral candidate in Technology Education, she combines her background in “risky business” with academic rigor to help groups master the art of when to Push and when to Pivot. Melissa translates the grit of high-altitude mountaineering into actionable strategies for organizations looking to grow. She empowers audiences to “level up” by sharing practical tools derived from her life on the edge, ensuring every listener leaves both inspired to climb and equipped to lead.

Tickets are $50 which includes a continental breakfast, lunch, and one drink coupon at the mixer following the event.

The event will cover better ways to approach workforce and retention, clearer thinking on business value and growth, practical ways to use AI to save time and increase capacity, stronger leadership and decision-making and insight into what’s changing locally and how it impacts your business.

There will be breakout sessions focusing on looking at your value proposition, employee health insurance, employee ownership and retirement planning, leadership training and creative business practices.
