Free Art Class: Volunteers Needed to Make Valentines
The next free art class will be on Tuesday, January 23 – beginning at 1:15pm in the Senior Center dining hall. We are never too old to make a Valentine and give it to someone. And this year we will be making them for the Meals on Wheels and congregate dining participants and we will need to make a lot of them! This is the perfect volunteer opportunity or come to make some for your loved ones. No art skill required for this class – just a desire to have fun and help spread some cheer to our older adults and their families. All materials will be provided. Join us for an hour or so of making Valentine’s together. Our teacher will again be Denise Fisk, who is a retired elementary art teacher from Iowa. She loves art and loves sharing art techniques with her classes. So grab a friend and come to the senior center for some fun, exchange ideas with others and see your success in creating some fun Valentine’s together.
