The final stretch of Thingamajig Theatre Company’s 2026 summer repertory season is here at the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts, with just under two weeks remaining before the summer company takes its final bow.

Tickets and performance information are available at pagosacenter.org or by calling 970-731-SHOW (7469).

‘Company’ will play its final performance Wednesday, August 19. Following that closing, only two productions will remain in repertory: Come From Away and Fiddler on the Roof, both continuing through the conclusion of the season on Saturday, August 29.

‘Come From Away’ has spent the summer introducing Pagosa audiences to the remarkable true story of the nearly 7,000 airline passengers diverted to Newfoundland following the September 11 attacks. Set primarily in the small community of Gander, the musical follows both the stranded travelers and the local residents who suddenly found themselves welcoming thousands of strangers into their homes, schools and community.

Funny, fast-moving and ultimately hopeful, ‘Come From Away’ asks its small company of actors to portray dozens of characters as the stories of passengers and Newfoundlanders intersect over five extraordinary days.

‘Fiddler on the Roof’ will also return for its final performances of the summer. The classic Broadway musical follows Tevye and his family in the village of Anatevka as changing times begin to challenge the traditions that have shaped their lives for generations.

With a score that includes “Tradition,” “If I Were a Rich Man,” “Matchmaker, Matchmaker,” “To Life” and “Sunrise, Sunset,” Fiddler has remained one of musical theatre’s most enduring works for more than six decades.

The end of summer repertory always arrives quickly. After months of rehearsing, performing and living together in Pagosa Springs, members of the professional company will soon begin departing for projects and theatres around the country. Before they go, audiences have several final opportunities to see ‘Come From Away’ and ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ and help bring another summer season at the Center to a close. We hope to see you!
