‘Cork & Board’ Launches Wine Club to Support Local Business and Bring Community Together

By Valerie Vander Berg

Cork & Board, Pagosa Springs’ destination for wine lovers located at 150 Pagosa Street (Highway 160) , is proud to announce the launch of its new Wine Club — Club 7100’ — a creative initiative designed not only to share exceptional wines with the community but also to generate business and foot traffic during the ongoing downtown construction.

As roadwork continues to affect local visibility and access, many small businesses in downtown Pagosa Springs have felt the impact. For Cork & Board, Club 7100’ became both a lifeline and a labor of love — a way to keep the doors open, create buzz, and continue fostering connection among locals, as well as visitors, who value great wine and good company.

Cork & Board offers up to 50 different hand-selected collections of wines from vineyards around the world.

“The construction has certainly presented challenges,” said Scott Allen, who owns Cork & Board with his wife Jennifer. “But it also inspired us to think differently. The Wine Club allows us to bring people together in a fun, meaningful way — supporting local business while giving the community something they’ve been asking for.”

Club 7100’ offers members an opportunity to explore hand-selected wines curated by experts who believe every bottle tells a story. With two tiers of membership, wine enthusiasts can choose the level that best suits their palate and lifestyle — each offering exclusive perks, tasting events, and special surprises that celebrate connection and discovery.

Membership benefits include:

  • Monthly selections of distinctive, hand-picked wines not commonly found on local shelves.
  • Two membership tiers tailored to different preferences and budgets.
  • Invitations to exclusive Cork and Board tastings and events.
  • Discounts and early access to limited releases.

Club 7100’ isn’t just about wine — it’s about community. It’s a way to keep people connected and engaged during a period of disruption, proving that creativity and collaboration can turn challenge into opportunity.
