The Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College presents the renowned Celtic ensemble, Solas, celebrating its 30th anniversary on Thursday, February 13, at 7:30pm.
Solas has long been celebrated for its extraordinary contribution to Irish music. The Boston Globe has praised them as “the finest Celtic ensemble this country has ever produced,” and the Wall Street Journal has described them as “an Irish traditional band bearing all the marks of greatness.” Solas has left an indelible mark on the world of traditional music.
Formed in New York City in 1995, Solas quickly became a driving force in the Irish music scene, earning recognition as a beacon of talent and inspiration.
