The Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College is pleased to announce the return of Concert Hall at the Park — its beloved summer series — bringing seven weeks of free live music to Buckley Park.
The series kicks off June 25 and continues each Thursday evening through August 6, inviting the community to gather under the open sky for an eclectic mix of regional and nationally touring artists.
The series reflects a continued commitment to expanding access to live performance while maintaining the quality audiences expect from the Concert Hall stage. What began as a way to bring music beyond the walls of the theater has grown into a signature Durango tradition, drawing audiences of all ages to share in the experience.“
Concert Hall at the Park is about creating space for community. It’s an opportunity to experience great live music in a relaxed, welcoming environment — whether you’re a longtime concertgoer or just discovering something new.
The 2026 lineup offers a dynamic range of sounds, from global rhythms to Americana grooves:
- June 25 – Sweet Lizzy Project: Cuban-born, Nashville-based band blending modern edge with a classic rock heart
- July 2 – The Spicy Pickles: High-energy modern swing band guaranteed to get audiences on their feet
- July 9 – Frontera Bugalú: Cumbia-infused sound reflecting the stories and rhythms of Latino cultures across the U.S. and Latin America
- July 16 – Fantastic Cat: Four musicians, four songwriters, and a freewheeling, must-see live show full of spontaneity and spirit
- July 23 – Jon Stickley Trio: Genre-defying instrumental trio known for cinematic soundscapes, innovative flatpicking, and groove-driven compositions
- July 30 – Jessee Lee: Texas-based, Nashville recording artist bringing a vintage country-soul sound shaped by a sharp pen and soulful voice
- August 6 – Mojo Birds: Groove-driven Americana with influences ranging from The Band to Al Green, layered with Afro-Peruvian rhythms
Concerts are free and open to the public and begin at 5:30pm each Thursday. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics to enjoy the performances in a relaxed outdoor setting.
In addition to providing memorable summer evenings, the series continues to support hands-on learning opportunities for students at Fort Lewis College, who assist with production, sound, and event logistics throughout the season.
