Phil Weiser has done a fabulous job protecting Coloradans as our Attorney General. He secured over $1.4 billion in legal settlements including consumer protection, public safely and environmental cases. These include Big Pharma (opioid) litigation and Anti-Trust actions (blocked Kroger-Albertsons merger). Phil took successful legal action against corporate landlords who illegally charged big rent hikes and “junk” fees.” Phil implemented upgraded police education including de-escalation and empathy training.
As Attorney General, he’s filed more than 60 lawsuits to defend our democracy, our civil rights and our planet against Trump’s executive branch overreach.
Being the son and grandson of Holocaust survivors has given Phil a lens and heart that’s dedicated to protecting people regardless of their gender, ethnicity, faith or who they love. Early on he was a law clerk for RBG (Ruth Bader Ginsberg) Clearly Phil’s life journey has shaped his strong principles, values and character. And he was mentored in the law by a true She Hero!
