Pagosa Unitarian Universalist Fellowship to Consider ‘Solidarity’

In March, the Pagosa Unitarian Universalist (UU) Fellowship had planned on offering a service titled Rooted in Solidarity and due to illness, we postponed it to this Sunday, May 3. We were inspired to share this offering from the Side With Love interfaith advocacy campaign as part of our justice-focused programing. This service offers a liturgy of stories, readings, songs and shared reflections that help communities ground themselves in our history of showing up in times of need, and help generate the spiritual strength needed to act with clarity and courage right now. Using stories from our Unitarian, Universalist and UU history: we will hear how ordinary people responded and showed up in very different ways to side with love, and show up with justice. This service is told through a host of readers and responses led by a worship leader. We are grateful to Dave Pettus and Susan Kuhns for providing music for this inspired service.

As a UU Fellowship we are part of an association of over 1000 congregations in the U.S. Join us this Sunday for a UU inclusive worship service designed for any concerned citizens needing a space to respond to the moments of crisis and collective grief in these unsettling times.

Our Sunday service programs begin at 10:30am and offer time for worship, small group engagement and social action. We celebrate diversity and foster a spiritual home for those wishing to Make Friends, Grow in Spirit and Do Good.

The following programs round out the rest of this month:
