Pagosa Peak Open School to Present ‘Midsummer Night’s Dream’

Pagosa Peak Open School is pleased to present their unique version of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream on April 23, 24, and 25 at the Pagosa Springs High School auditorium.

This sharp one-act version of Shakespeare’s most popular comedy, as adapted by Dr. Carolyn Harper, stars mischievous fairies, complicated romances, bumbling actors, magic, and laughs upon laughs!

This stage play’s blend of modern language and Elizabethan dialogue keeps the flavor of Shakespeare’s poetry and delivers hilarity for a modern audience.

Students in grades 3-8 from PPOS, Pagosa Valor Academy, Pagosa Family School, and Pagosa Springs Middle School have been working with Mrs. Beach and Ms. Rain this semester to bring this timeless comedy to life at the Pagosa Springs High School auditorium.

Performances will be Thursday, April 23 (Shakespeare’s birthday!) and Friday, April 24 at 6:30pm, and Saturday April 26 at 2pm.

Tickets will be $10 for adults and $5 for children, at the door.
