The Colorado Energy Office, 4CORE, and Pagosa Springs Community Development Corporation will host a Rural Energy Resiliency Forum on Monday, April 6, from 5 to 6:30pm at the Ross Aragon Community Center, 451 Hot Springs Blvd.
The forum will focus on a topic that is increasingly important for Colorado, especially in rural communities like Pagosa Springs: energy resilience.
Reliable, affordable energy is not just a utility issue. It is also a community resilience issue, an economic development issue, and an important part of preparing rural communities for the future.
Attendees will hear more about grid resilience, electrification incentives, financing opportunities, and other tools and resources that can help rural communities strengthen long-term resilience and economic vitality.
The forum is intended for business owners, property owners, community partners, and residents interested in learning more about the opportunities and issues shaping rural energy in Colorado.
Community members are encouraged to attend and take part in the conversation.
