On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, Pagosa Springs voters will select four seats, three Town Council members and the Mayor.
Completed petitions are due in the Town Clerk’s office no later than 5:00 pm Monday, January 26, 2026.
If you are interested in serving on the Town Council and giving back to the community, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a citizen of the United States and 18 years of age or older by the date of the election
- Be a registered elector of the Town of Pagosa Springs
- Be a resident of the Town for no less than 12 consecutive months preceding the election
- Have no felony convictions
- Not be an employee of the Town
Candidates interested in having their name appear on the April ballot must complete a nomination petition packet. Packets are available for pick up at Town Hall during regular office hours.
All municipal elections are nonpartisan, and the four council vacancies are for four-year terms. All council seats will be nominated and elected from the town at large.
