HMPRESENTLY: Snaky?

Many words have been used to describe former President Donald Trump. How about the word ‘Snaky?’

In dictionaries, ‘snaky’ reflects “the supposed nature of a snake in showing coldness and venom…”

Mr. Trump, seemingly ignoring threats to his own Vice President, Mike Pence, during the January 6 attack on the US Capital — threats that included calls by attackers to ‘hang Pence’— was that a bit snaky, on Mr. Trump’s part? He also may have ignored, for quite some time, as the attack was underway, attackers’ threats to harm, or do away with, various congressional representatives and senators.

If associating Mr. Trump with coldness and venom and snakes seems harsh, well… here are a few words he has said, and tweeted, about people:

Jeb Bush likes illegals because of his wife.

While Bette Midler is an extremely unattractive woman, I refuse to say that because I always insist on being politically correct.

Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky…

Irrelevant clown Karl Rove sweats and shakes nervously on Fox News.

I hear that sleepy eyes Chuck Todd will be fired like a dog…

If Hillary Clinton can’t satisfy her husband, what makes her think she can satisfy America…

A little snaky, maybe?

There’s just something about the way Mr. Trump – and some in his family – say things and comport themselves, that, perhaps, makes you wonder how they happen to appeal to a fair number of people. It’s puzzling.

I’ve been in PR, the image business, and I’ll admit, I’m not totally getting it. I should be, but I’m not. Yeah… we’re terribly polarized, politically, and the former president has been using that to his own advantage. But with coldness, venom and such in mind, his appeal just doesn’t compute. Frankly.
