An early November snowstorm has expedited the opening of the 2022-2023 ski season at Wolf Creek Ski Area today, Friday, November 4. The storm started in the evening of a warm sunny day and dropped 20 inches in the last 24 hours on a 6-inch base.

As of Thursday evening, skies were overcast and it was still snowing.

The Nova and Lynx beginner lifts will open at 9:00am, followed by a delayed opening of Treasure Stoke and Bonanza Lifts, closing at 4:00pm.

Ski School, Ski and Snowboard Rentals, Treasure Sports, Pathfinder Bar and the Wolf Creek Lodge (Upper Lodge) which will serve a full lunch menu, will be open.

To start the new season off the Local Appreciation rate will be available until further notice: $62.00 for Adults; $43.00 for Seniors and $32 for Children. Every one is considered a local!

You can check for snow and weather updates on the ski area website and at 1-800-Ski-Wolf.

The Wolf Creek Ski School will be doing a hiring clinic and interviews on Saturday, November 5 and Sunday, November 6 starting at 9:00am. Meet at the Lynx Learning Center, bring gear, lunch and plan to be on the mountain, ready to ski and ride both days! Part-time, holiday and full-time positions are available in the ski, snowboard and Wolf Pup departments.

Until Wolf Creek receives enough natural snowfall to open the upper mountain, the tentative schedule is Friday thru Sundays… until Friday, November 18 when the ski area will open through Thanksgiving weekend. As usual, with more snow and winter conditions, more terrain and lifts will open; detailed information will be updated on the website and 1-800-ski-wolf.

The Pre-Season Pass Sale ended Sunday, October 16. Season Passes are now at regular rates. Pricing can be found by visiting Wolf Creek’s Season Pass page.

ALL pass holders, both new and returning, will need a new season pass card. 2022-2023 Season Pass Holders who have not picked-up a new RFID card will stop by the Ticket Office their first day up to have their card printed.

Due to verification reasons, season pass cards will not be sent via mail, but are only available for in-person pick-up at the Ticket Office. Wolf Creek Ski Area is pleased to offer Season Pass Holders and guests the convenience of RFID and looks forward to a great season with the new technology.

Wolf Creek is gearing up for the upcoming season and is taking applications for all departments: lifts, ski school, food and beverage, base operations, retail, ticket office and more. Please check out the Employment Page to download an application.

Overnight parking in the Overflow Lot is permitted to ski area guests only, who are recreating on Wolf Creek Ski Area’s special use permit, i.e. ski area boundary, as well as participants of the Pass Creek Yurt.
