The ‘Haunted House’ experience created by students at Pagosa Peak Open School (PPOS) was originally scheduled to be open on Friday and Saturday, October 23 and 24, but due to the ongoing flood event — and unsafe and impassable road conditions — the school has rescheduled the experience for this Monday (Oct. 26) and Tuesday (Oct. 27) from 6-8pm.
“Same event, same thrills”

The experience was designed to be kid- and family-friendly.
The Haunted House project was a school ‘elective’ in the Middle School fall curriculum, that introduced students to the ‘business end’ of fundraising and entertainment productions, taught by Laura Moore, Production and Business Manager at the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts. The student have met two days a week since August, learning about set design, marketing, and other aspects of the entertainment business.
Admission is by donation.
