Two Free Workshops to Help Contractors Improve Their Bid Submissions

Are you submitting bids but not winning contracts? Or winning jobs only to discover your estimates didn’t account for all the costs? Connect2DOT is partnering with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) serving Southern Colorado to offer two free workshops designed to help contractors sharpen their estimating skills, submit more competitive bids and protect their profits.

October 22 | The Bottom Line: Construction Estimating Basics
Learn the fundamentals of preparing accurate, responsive bids. Topics include setting up estimates, using estimating software, creating bids, avoiding common mistakes and following up after submitting a proposal. This session is ideal for contractors new to estimating or looking to improve their existing processes. This is a virtual only session.

Both workshops will be held from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. and led by Bob Smith, a construction industry professional with more than 25 years of experience who has helped hundreds of small businesses improve their estimating and bidding practices.

Registration is free, and contractors may attend either or both sessions depending on their experience and training needs.
