Join Us for ‘Fall Fest’ at Growing Spaces

By Laura Dollar

Growing Spaces invites the community to our Fall Fest Open House on Saturday, September 12, from 10am–3pm at the Growing Spaces campus in Pagosa Springs. The event is free and open to the public, with no RSVP required.

Spend the day learning, exploring, and connecting with fellow gardeners and the Growing Dome® community. Guests can tour all six sizes of our demonstration Growing Domes, attend informative talks throughout the day, visit with regional vendors and presenters, enjoy refreshments and activities, and enter for a chance to win a Growzebo™ Greenhouse.

This year’s Fall Fest will also feature a bouquet competition, where individuals or teams can create a seasonal arrangement from our flower bar for a chance to win Growing Spaces gift certificates. Pot painting and yard games will also be available throughout the day.

Several regional businesses and organizations will join us, including 4 Corners Worm Farm, Paonia Soil Co., Backyard Boxes, Rio Bravo Nursery, and Archuleta County CSU Extension. Visitors can learn more about vermiculture, soil health, raised-bed gardening, fall planting, food preservation, and other resources for successful growing.

Fall Fest is also a great opportunity for current Dome Owners to compare notes, ask questions, and connect with the Growing Spaces team, while prospective owners can explore different dome sizes, layouts, and features in person.

Whether you are already growing in a dome, curious about year-round greenhouse gardening, or simply looking for a fun community event, we hope you’ll join us for a day of learning, gardening, and connection.
