Mark your calendars for September 18–20—ColorFest is bringing a full weekend of fall color, community spirit, and high-flying fun to Yamaguchi Park and beyond!
Hosted by the Chamber, ColorFest is one of those special hometown traditions that gives everyone a reason to get outside, reconnect with friends, welcome visitors, and celebrate the spectacular season that makes Pagosa shine. With mountain views, crisp autumn air, and golden aspens beginning to glow, it is the perfect setting for a weekend packed with fun.
From longtime locals to first-time visitors, ColorFest offers something to enjoy for every age. It is a chance to slow down, soak in the beauty of our community, support local businesses, and make memories.
Things kick off Friday, September 18, with Passport to Pagosa from 6–9 PM. An evening of exploring local businesses, delicious bites, and voting for your favorite restaurant in the People’s Choice Contest. Then come back Saturday, September 19, for Bands, Brews & Barrels from 4–8 PM. Featuring live music, beer and spirits, and the chance to cast your vote in the People’s Choice Brewer & Distiller Contest.
The highlight of the weekend is the Hot Air Balloon Launches Saturday, September 19 around 8am from downtown South of the Springs Resort and Sunday, September 20 around 8am uptown across from Les Schwab. (Weather Permitting) And for the first time we will have the State Drone Show visiting Colorfest Saturday evening after the Balloon Glow Saturday night.
To buy tickets you can go online at pagosachamber.com, or call us at 970-264-2360 and we will be happy to get you however many tickets you want for Passport on Friday or Bands, Brews, and Barrels on Saturday.
