The League of Women Voters of Archuleta County is celebrating its first anniversary. We invite the community — women and men — to join us as we support strong voting rights and enjoy nonpartisan programs about issues of interest to everyone.
On Monday, July 27, at 5:30pm, the local league will review our first year and plan for the next. Join us at the Community United Methodist Church on Lewis Street.
We will review the reception of the recent showing of the documentary “Join or Die” at the Liberty Theatre and the participation of 10 worthy local nonprofits. We will also present the league’s updated organizational structure and invite interested folks to take a role.
Attendees will also learn about the opportunity to take part in the Colorado League of Women Voters’ candidate forum training.
