3rd Street
Beginning, Tuesday, July 14, parking will be impacted at the intersection of 3rd Street and US 160 for sidewalk removal and replacement. This operation is anticipated to take several weeks.

200-300 Blocks
Crews continue to work on installing curb, gutter and new sidewalks.

Lewis Street
The team has completed the utility work at the Lewis Street intersection. Work this week will prepare the subgrade for concrete paving.

Pedestrian Safety – Watch Where You Walk!
Pedestrian crosswalks are open at 4th, 5th, 7th, and 8th Streets as an alternative to access businesses along Lewis Street or anywhere on the 400 block. Our team continues to see pedestrians, not practicing good safety measures, jumping barricades and crossing US 160. Our work zone is extremely active in several locations and we want to keep everyone safe!

What’s going on with Lewis Street?
The Lewis Street and US 160 intersection closure remains in place. Please utilize 4th, 5th, 7th, and 8th Streets as an alternative to access businesses along Lewis Street. The good news is that the complex utility line work will be complete by Friday, June 26th. Crews have completed water utility work, wastewater utility work, stormwater, geothermal, gas, and electrical work. Following the 4th of July holiday weekend, crews will begin prepping base in the area for future paving.
