Register Today for the 2026 Archuleta Food Summit

Community members across Archuleta County are invited to gather, connect, and help shape the future of our local food system at the 2026 Archuleta Food Summit on Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 7:45 am – 1 pm, at the Pagosa Springs High School.

This year’s Summit, ‘Rooted in Tradition · Growing Through Innovation’ is more than a conversation, it is an opportunity for residents, growers, entrepreneurs, youth leaders, health partners, and community champions to come together around a shared vision for nutrition security, economic opportunity, and rural resilience.

A highlight of the event will be a hands-on simulation of the proposed Archuleta Community Food Hub and Food Hall. Participants will experience how local food can move from growers and producers to families, schools, small businesses, and community spaces. The simulation will offer a tangible look at how shared infrastructure can strengthen our local economy, support small food enterprises, expand workforce pathways, and increase access to fresh, healthy food for all.

Throughout the morning, attendees can expect:

  • Engaging speakers and panel discussions on food, health, and economic vitality
  • Interactive activities that bring the Food Hub vision to life
  • Opportunities to connect with growers, organizations, youth leaders, and local partners
  • A delicious Farm-to-Table lunch

The Food Summit reflects Healthy Archuleta’s belief that lasting solutions emerge when community members learn together, share ideas, and take collective action. Whether you are passionate about local agriculture, small business development, youth leadership, health and wellness, or simply want to see a thriving future for Archuleta County, this event offers a welcoming space to participate.

Registration is now open, and community members are encouraged to sign up early to help us plan for meals, materials, and interactive activities.
