Thank you to everyone who helped with the San Juan Outdoor Club’s ‘Old Fashioned Christmas’ celebration on Saturday December 20! I’m biased, but I think we had the best display and the friendliest cocoa servers! It is always such a fun time being with the members of the Outdoor Club!
A special thanks to Joe Yoklavich for planning and organizing the hot cocoa distribution supply chain! We must get more popular every year because we can never anticipate how many cups to buy. I think our display and cocoa service is becoming the leading tradition of the annual Christmas Celebration (again, no bias here)…
We served about 800 cups of hot cocoa, and the cozy campsite kept many warm.
A special thanks to Lisa for planning our display set. Even though she was sitting on the beach drinking margaritas while we were shivering in the freezing cold weather (at least that’s what I told her), her thoughts were with us.
Again, thanks to all who helped with the setup, cocoa service, and tear-down. What a team…
Merry Christmas!
