Soon Habitat for Humanity of Archuleta County and Aspen House Pagosa will be even better equipped to meet the community’s needs in the Pagosa Springs area. Habitat for Humanity’s 2-axle trailer and Aspen House Pagosa’s Nissan Rogue Sport AWD will both receive top-notch new tires during the grand opening celebration of the new Les Schwab Tires store in Pagosa Springs. Les Schwab Tires is donating the tires as part of its Tires for Purpose program and will install them during the festivities on June 13 and June 14.
Habitat for Humanity of Archuleta County partners with local workforce families to build homes so they can live in the community they support. Aspen House Pagosa helps adults with developmental disabilities live their best lives in Pagosa Springs. The donated tires will reduce the burden of both organizations’ operational costs so they can focus on their respective missions. The donations also reinforce the safety of Aspen House Pagosa’s clients – adults who are not able to drive themselves to the places where they need to go. The Nissan Rogue Sport AWD is used to transport clients to their jobs and community events, and for Aspen House Pagosa staff to help provide opportunities for them to live full and rewarding lives in the community they know and love.
The community is invited to join the grand opening celebration at the 6,632-square-foot Les Schwab Tires store at 3087 Cornerstone Drive in Pagosa Springs, featuring tire installations at 10am on June 13 (Habitat for Humanity) and 10am on June 14 (Aspen House Pagosa). Visitors will enjoy sweet treats from Pagosa Baking Co. and free merchandise, gift cards and more.
In addition to welcoming a new community supporter and tire retailer, with the opening of the Pagosa Springs Les Schwab Tires store residents and businesses now have a new option for one-stop shopping to ensure their vehicles are equipped to safely transport them wherever they need to go. In addition to serving passenger vehicles, this full-service store supports trucks, farm and industrial vehicles with a variety of services.
