The Community Foundation serving Southwest Colorado is sponsoring, in partnership with the Pagosa Springs Golf Club, the fourth of four 19th Hole Concerts this Thursday, June 27.
The concert slated on June 20 with The San Juan Mountain Boys, the third concert in the series, has been rescheduled for July 11. You will not want to miss it, so mark your calendars.
For this week, the featured nonprofit this week is the Early Childhood Council of Archuleta County, and the featured artist is sax player Bob Hemenger.
The Early Childhood Council of Archuleta County was founded to support families of young children by supporting and sustaining a comprehensive, high-quality, accessible early childhood system that prepares children for success both academically and personally.
Food from Square Top BBQ, beer, wine, and signature Tito’s cocktails will be available for purchase. No outside food, drink or pets will be allowed. Concertgoers should bring a camping chair or blanket- or both to take full advantage of a summer evening in the Rocky Mountains.
The 19th Hole Concerts are held every Thursday in June from 5:30-7:30pm, at the Pagosa Springs Golf Club. We get a Mulligan on the 11th of July, for the third concert that was postponed. The cover charge is a $10 donation which supports the four nonprofits selected through the month of June. Corporate sponsors cover event expenses, allowing all proceeds at the end of the series to be pooled and distributed equally to the featured organizations. The collaborative approach to the concerts is vital to their success.
We want to thank our sponsors, along with the Pagosa Springs Golf Club, Square Top BBQ, Titos, Two Old Crows Gallery, Bank of Colorado, Healing Waters Resort and Spa, and The Best of Pagosa Springs.
