HEALTHY ARCHULETA: October Archuleta Health Fair Offers Low-Cost Wellness Screening

Local residents looking to take proactive control of their health can now sign up for comprehensive wellness screenings at the upcoming Community Health Fair. Designed to make essential preventative care accessible to all community members, the event will offer affordable blood chemistry panels and vital health metrics in a convenient, local setting.

Participants will have access to affordable wellness labs, including comprehensive metabolic panels, lipid profiles, thyroid screenings, and hemoglobin A1C tests. These routine screenings provide critical insights into heart health, blood sugar levels, liver and kidney function, and overall metabolic wellness, often detecting potential health concerns long before symptoms appear.

To ensure a smooth experience and minimize wait times, community members are strongly encouraged to pre-register on Healthy Archuleta’s website prior to the event. Pre-registration allows attendees to select their preferred lab options, complete necessary paperwork in advance, and secure their arrival time slot.

To help residents fully understand their lab work, the Archuleta County Public Health Department is offering free follow-up appointments to review results. During these consultations, public health staff will help participants interpret their numbers, answer questions, and discuss personalized steps to maintain or improve their health.
