To help residents protect their property from flooding and water damage, sandbags and sand are now available for pickup at the County Road & Bridge Department (1122 Hwy 84).
Important: Due to crews responding to flood issues in the field, residents will need to fill sandbags themselves.
Please bring your own shovels and be prepared to load your own vehicles.
Fill flood-control sandbags half to two-thirds full with clean washed sand so the contents settle flat and make a good seal; sandbags filled over two-thirds or under half often don’t seal properly.
