Durango Concert Hall Adds Two Special Performances to 2026-2027 Season

The Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College has expanded its 2026–2027 Performing Arts Season with two highly anticipated performances, adding acclaimed humorist and bestselling author David Sedaris and Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriters Suzy Bogguss & Kathy Mattea to an already exceptional lineup celebrating the Concert Hall’s 30th anniversary.

David Sedaris comes to the Community Concert Hall on Tuesday, May 4, 2027, at 7:30 p.m. Acclaimed humorist and bestselling author David Sedaris has captivated audiences worldwide with his signature blend of sharp wit, insightful observations, and unforgettable storytelling.

A five-time Grammy nominee, Sedaris is the author of numerous bestselling books, including Me Talk Pretty One Day, Calypso, and Happy-Go-Lucky.

On Sunday, March 21, 2027, at 7:30pm, Suzy Bogguss & Kathy Mattea will share the Concert Hall stage for a rare evening featuring two of the most celebrated voices in contemporary country and folk music. With Grammy Awards, chart-topping songs, and decades of acclaimed performances between them, Bogguss and Mattea have built enduring careers through heartfelt storytelling, exceptional musicianship, and timeless songs. Their collaboration promises an intimate evening of music, friendship, and unforgettable performances.

These performances join an already exciting 30th Anniversary Season featuring internationally acclaimed musicians, dance, theater, holiday traditions, family programming, and the special anniversary production, Boots, Bows & The Big Stage — a one-of-a-kind celebration bringing together two beloved Community Concert Hall partners, the Bar D Wranglers and the San Juan Symphony, in a collaborative performance created especially for this milestone season.

For 30 years, the Community Concert Hall has enriched life in the Four Corners by connecting audiences with extraordinary artists and meaningful shared experiences while serving as an important educational and cultural partner on the Fort Lewis College campus.

Tickets for David Sedaris are on sale now. Tickets for Suzy Bogguss & Kathy Mattea go on sale this Friday, July 24, at 12 noon.
