CSU Extension to Host ‘Bioblitz’ Event in Downtown Pagosa

Ignite your sense of curiosity and discovery at the 1st Annual Archuleta County BioBlitz 2026.

Join us on Saturday, June 20, for a day of hands-on nature exploration in Pagosa’s downtown riverwalks and parks. This is your opportunity to become a Community Scientist: work alongside field experts, deepen your knowledge of local ecosystems, and contribute essential species data directly benefiting scientists and conservation efforts. Discover the incredible biodiversity in your own backyard.

A schedule of walks and talks will be shared closer to the event, featuring expert-led sessions and opportunities to discover different species.

Tickets include a fun day of learning from experts, dinner, beverages, and t-shirt. Adults are $25, Students and Children under 12 are $10. Please pick the appropriate ticket at checkout.
