This week, the Pagosa Springs Area Chamber of Commerce will travel to Denver to spend a day at the State Capitol, joining local chambers and business advocates from across SW Colorado. This will allow the chambers a direct voice with state leaders on issues such as workforce, housing, transportation, and regulations that affect rural economies. While at the Capitol, we will meet with legislators, attend briefings, and share stories of how small businesses are driving Pagosa Springs’ growth and quality of life.
By participating in Capitol events and policy conversations, the Chamber works to ensure that rural perspectives are included in statewide strategies and that Pagosa businesses can tap into programs, resources, and partnerships that originate at the state level.
March Business Happy Hour
Our March Business Happy Hour will be on March 19th on Thursday from 5:00–7:00pm at the CSU Extension Office, giving members a relaxed setting to exchange ideas, meet new partners, and learn more about fellow Chamber businesses. Entry is just $10 and includes two drinks, food, and a ticket for door prizes, and Chamber member passes are always welcome.
Join us as the Chamber continues to celebrate 50 years of supporting the local business community.
Save The Date – Beyond the Bottom Line
Looking ahead, the Chamber is also preparing for its “Beyond the Bottom Line” business event, presented in partnership with the Pagosa Springs Community Development Corporation. Scheduled for April 29, this program will explore what it really means to build a resilient business in Pagosa Springs — going beyond profits to include workforce well-being, community impact, and long-term sustainability. The event is aimed at connection, recognition, and year-round economic vitality for our local businesses.
