Leah Ballard from Habitat for Humanity will speak at the Monday, February 16, meeting of the Archuleta County Democratic Club. The Club meets at 11:30am at Coyote Moon.
Habitat for Humanity of Archuleta County partners with future homeowners and volunteers to build affordable housing. Pagosa Springs faces a critical shortage of affordable housing, and Habitat has plans to build 15 houses over the next five years. Come to our meeting to learn more about Habitat and how you can support this necessary non-profit in our community.
The Archuleta County Democratic Club meets every month. The Club gives local Democrats the opportunity to meet with other Democrats, to hear speakers from the community, to meet candidates for local and national offices, and to hear about topics of timely interest. All are welcome to attend. Please plan to come by 11:30 to order lunch. The speaker will present at noon. Having cash will facilitate ordering.
