February is the month when we celebrate the people and things that we love. Valentine’s Day is the pinnacle of that energy. This year our Ruby Sisson Library is leading the way with an opportunity for patrons and clients to express their love and support.
The library is encouraging users to express their feelings about the library by sharing them in the form of a heart with a typed or handwritten message telling “Why I love my library.”
This celebration of affection is running from February 2 through 28.
Hearts are available for purchase by adults for $5 for the 5-inch size, and $4 for the 4-inch size.
Children are encouraged to participate for $1 or for free if they certify that they have read five books during the month.
The hearts will be displayed on walls around the library during the month and, of course, the money will go toward the building fund, which is within striking distance of our end goal of $5.1 million.
Participants can come to the library on Saturday to pay in person (cash or check) and create their heart(s)…
…or visit this website to purchase your heart and let us know what you want your heart to say.
Share the love and join us for this unique display of support for our Ruby Sisson Library.
