The Archuleta League of Women Voters will host a program tomorrow, Tuesday, January 21, at 5:30pm at the Community United Methodist Church, 434 Lewis St.
The public is invited.
The program, “What Archuleta Schools Teach About Democracy,” will focus on the civics and social studies curriculum that prepares students to be knowledgeable voters.
The Colorado League works to support the “key indicators” of healthy democracies: voter participation, campaign finance reform, diversity of representation, civic knowledge, participation, and education.
