You Are Invited to a ‘Housing Action Plan’ Open House Event Next Week

Archuleta County, the Town of Pagosa Springs, and Pagosa Springs Community Development Corporation are working to gather to create a new Housing Action Plan that will define what we can do to address local housing needs.

Two sessions will be offered on Wednesday, January 21 — one session from 10am to 12 noon, and a second session from 5 to 7pm, at the Ross Aragon Community Center, 451 Hot Springs Boulevard. Interested citizens can drop by anytime during those times to learn more about Archuleta County’s housing crisis and to give input.

The plan is intended to address housing needs both within the town of Pagosa Springs and in unincorporated Archuleta County.

This plan will build on the recently adopted Housing Needs Assessment, and will turn that information into real steps we can take to improve housing for everyone. We want to hear from you about what is working, what is not, and what ideas you have for the future. Your input will help shape the plan and guide decisions for housing.

Everyone is welcome to come learn about the project, ask questions, and share what you think – no prior knowledge needed!

Let us know that you plan to attend by clicking here. You don’t need to RSVP, but registering helps us prepare for the event and allow us to keep you updated on the project’s progress.
