Pagosa UU Fellowship Works Towards Justice and Community

As a Unitarian Universalist (UU) congregation, the Pagosa UU Fellowship aspires to build beloved community and work toward a world of justice and equity for all.

This Sunday, January 18, we honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. King’s Day is recognized nationally on the third Monday of January, and is a time to honor his memory with a day of service encouraging community engagement and volunteering.

We will remember and celebrate what he accomplished; it will acknowledge the suffering and death experienced by those involved in the struggle for basic human rights — and most immediately relevant, we will be reminded and know deeply, in this time of rising authoritarianism, that such acts of resistance are humanely possible and that the loss of basic human rights can only happen if we, the people, allow it to happen.

The Pagosa Unitarian Universalist Fellowship meets the first and third Sundays for Services at 10:30am. The PagosaUU.org website is a place you will find additional information about upcoming services and programs. We offer space for groups holding events at the UU Community Hub.

The Tara Pagosa Meditation Group has been an on-going group for several years, and continues to meet Sundays at 4:30-6:00pm through the winter. If you cannot attend in person, join us on Zoom. Please email Pagosa UU Fellowship to be added to our meditation email list. Emails may include a short Dharma message, notifications about upcoming Dharma events, or cancellations. And to stay connected and informed.

Qigong practice is held on Mondays at 1:00pm, and all are welcome for this gentle and grounding practice.

The Pagosa UU Fellowship is located in the Greenbriar Plaza, Unit B-15, 301 N. Pagosa Blvd. on the north side facing the Pagosa Peak. We welcome all who are looking for a warm community of open hearts and minds, to Make Friends, Grow in Spirit and Do Good.
