Wolf Creek Ski Area is open for the 2025-2026 ski season, operating 7 days a week.
The midway snow depth is currently at 25 inches. The year-to-date snowfall total is 58 inches. Conditions are hard packed/packed powder/variable conditions off piste with unmarked obstacles. Wolf Creek has excellent early season conditions.
Snow Report Rundown:
- Wolf Creek has 100% of terrain open & all lifts operating from 9:00a to 4:00p.
- The midway snow depth is currently at 25 inches.

- The Meadow and Spur Loop Nordic trails are open. They were groomed and track set on December 12.
Lift Information:
- Alberta, Charity Jane, Treasure Stoke, Elmas, Bonanza, Tumbler, Nova and Lynx lifts are operating from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Skiers and boarders have access to 100% of the mountain!
Lift Ticket & Season Passes:
- Purchase lift tickets online to have a re-loadable ticket.
- Re-loadable lift tickets allow you to print your tickets at a pick-up box or Ticket Office the first day, then go directly to lifts the remainder of the season. Re-loadable tickets will have an additional charge of $2.
- Tickets purchased in-person are not re-loadable.
- Lift tickets are at Peak Rates: $105 for adults, $74 for seniors, and $56 for children.
- Peak Rate Dates: December, 21 through Wednesday, December 24 and Friday, December 26 through Saturday, January 3.
- Lift tickets will be at regular rates Christmas Day.
- SuperSaver Season Passes are blacked out Sunday, December 21 thru Thursday, December 24 and Friday, December 26 thru Saturday, January 3.
Today’s Highlights for Sunday, December 21st:
- Wolf Creek will have regular operations for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
- Santa will be visiting both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to spread holiday cheer!

- Ski & Snowboard School is available. It’s a great time for a private or group lesson.
- Reservations are highly recommended during peak periods

- Private Lessons available by calling 970-264-5835.
- Skis and boards are ready to rent in-person or at shop.WolfCreekSki.com.
- Online Rentals require a reservation at least two days prior to arrival.
- Rental Shop opens at 7:00 a.m.
- The Wolf Creek Lodge, our main day lodge, is open, serving a full menu.
- The Pathfinder Bar is available for purchasing beer, wine and cocktails.
- The Prospector Grill is open from 7:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- The Raven’s Roost Pizzeria is now open for the season! Stop in and grab a slice of freshly made pizza.
- The Base Camp Building is open to picnickers and has concessions available.
- The Continental Espresso Bar is open and serving up locally roasted Steep Coffee. Stop in and try it out.
- Treasure Sports has a great selection of new technical wear, as well as t-shirts.
Other Information:
- Uphill traffic is permitted on Kelly Boyce to Divide Trail during lift operating hours. Purchase your uphill pass at the Ticket Office.
