The Archuleta County Board of County Commissioners seeks a volunteer to serve on the County’s Planning Commission. The vacancy is for a three (3) year term.
Citizens interested in planning issues and how planning affects the community are encouraged to apply.
Planning Commission meetings are generally scheduled for 6:00pm the fourth Thursday of each month, except for during the holiday season, at the Archuleta County Administration Building, 398 Lewis St, Pagosa Springs, CO. Policy meetings are scheduled the second Wednesday of selected months. Special sessions are held at the call of the Chair.

The Planning Commission is the land use planning advisory group for the County reporting to the Board of County Commissioners in the administration of the Archuleta County Land Use Regulations.

Public Comment will be heard during all Public Hearings in person or via ZOOM. If you wish to comment during a Public Hearing at the Planning Commission, you will be asked to complete this PC Public Comment Request Form and email the completed form to Melissa Ryan at least 24 hours before the scheduled Public Hearing.
