Join the Pagosa community tomorrow, Saturday December 20 from 5 to 7pm, for the fifth annual Old Fashioned Christmas Celebration in downtown Pagosa Springs. Enjoy more than 20 Christmas-themed displays and activities, live music, free hot chocolate and cider, a photo booth, games, toys and other goodies. And, of course, Santa Claus.
Santa will arrive at his workshop at the Visitor Center shortly after 5pm with the help of a hot air balloon. There will be opportunities to view Santa’s arrival along Hot Springs Boulevard between the post office and the visitor center.
The walking route extends along the Riverwalk from Centennial Park to Town Park and over the Hot Springs Boulevard bridge to the Visitor Center. Entry points for the event include the Visitor Center and Centennial Park. Look for decorated white tents at the key entry points to receive free ornaments. Attendees are encouraged to bring flashlights.
Attendees are encouraged to park at The Springs expansion lot on Hot Springs Boulevard, at the parking lot at South 5th Street or the lot next to the Ruby Sisson Library.
Once again in 2025, we will have an opportunity for attendees to vote for their favorite decorated segment. The winning segment will receive bragging rights. Look for signs at the event to vote. Segments have been adopted by groups, organizations and businesses.
This event is a collaboration of the Town of Pagosa Springs, Archuleta County and The Pagosa Springs SUN. Please join us for a fun and festive evening in downtown Pagosa Springs to celebrate the spirit of the holiday season.
