The Pagosa Springs Chamber member candidates for the 2026 Board of Directors are now open to voting by Chamber members. Every year, the Chamber presents six candidates to be elected to the Chamber Board of Directors for a three-year term. Of these six candidates, three are chosen by the membership to serve. The voting is open to membership businesses until Monday, January 12, 2026.
Each Chamber member will be allowed one ballot. They will be allowed to vote for up to three candidates. Should the member business vote for more than three candidates, their vote will be nullified. Should the member business vote more than once, any ballots after the initial ballot will be disqualified. However, should you have more than one business registered as a Chamber member, each business will be allowed one ballot vote.
The Chamber seeks to have a variety of businesses represented on the board. This year’s candidates represent a variety of business interests. The candidates are:
- Joe Ford, owner of Mountain West
- Christina Gonzales, Branch Manager for RG Bank
- Darren Gantt, co-owner of San Juan Lifestyle
- Matt Kossler, co-owner of Patria
- Kelly Maestes, Financial Advisor at Edward Jones
- Loretta Paniagua, Branch Manager for First Southwest Bank
The members cycling off the chamber board this year are Ricardo Martinez, Executive Director of Archuleta Seniors; Kirsten Derr, Dr. Mountain Eye Care; and an open position. We appreciate the 3 years of service they have given to this organization through their business savvy and their volunteerism.
Remaining on the board will be Davilyn Valdez as Board President; Rebecca Tenpenny Secretary/Treasurer, Executive Director at Pagosa Community Initiative, Austin Marchand, Owner of Rocky Mountain Balloon Adventures; Cindy Nobles, Office Manager at Build Pagosa; Annie Sewell, owner of Right Molecule IV Hydration Lounge, and Tom Sottek, Director of People and Culture at The Springs Resort.
Thank you to those that have voted, and if you have not, would you please take just a few minutes to elect three of the six candidates onto the 2026 Chamber Board. We appreciate all the candidates signing up and running for the board and the commitment they have offered to the organization and the community. You can vote for the candidates at this website.
Remember, voting ends January 12. If you have any questions about the voting, please contact the Chamber at (970) 264-2360.
