Flood Recovery Information Available from Archuleta County

Archuleta County and Pagosa Springs recently experienced significant flooding. To help residents navigate insurance, cleanup, and financial recovery, we’ve gathered official resources from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).

These documents explain how to start a flood insurance claim, what disaster assistance may be available, common misconceptions about flood coverage, and steps you can take to protect your home moving forward.

Please use the resources at the Archuleta County website, here, to learn about your options and next steps.

If you have questions, feel free to contact Archuleta County Planning Manager, Melissa Ryan (970-264-8341), for additional guidance. Our goal is to support the community as we recover and rebuild.
