Latest Storm Delivers at Wolf Creek Ski Area

Wolf Creek Ski Area is open for the 2025-2026 ski season with 7-day-a-week operations.

Wolf Creek received 4 inches of new snow overnight, bringing the latest storm total to 12 inches. The all-natural snow depth is 37 inches at the midway. The year-to-date snowfall is 55 inches.

Surface conditions are Powder/Packed Powder/Machine Groomed with Early Season Conditions – expect rocks & unmarked obstacles.

  • All Lifts are operating from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., giving access to roughly 80% of the mountain.
  • A full grooming report can be found on the Grooming Report Page.
  • Lift tickets are at Local Appreciation rates today and  tomorrow, December 4: $70 for adults, $51 for seniors, and $35 for children. Purchase onlineto save time at the Ticket Office. Tickets are reloadable this season, so an initial ticket will have an additional charge of $2.
  • Sunday, December 7th is College Day! Students with a valid college photo I.D. and current class schedule can purchase a $70 lift ticket!
  • The Wolf Creek Lodge, our main day lodge, is open, serving a full menu!
  • The Pathfinder Bar is available for purchasing beer, wine and cocktails.
  • The Prospector Grill will be open tomorrow, December 4th from 7:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • The Ski school is also available. It’s a great time for a private or group lesson.
  • Skis and boards are ready to rent.
  • Treasure Sports has a great selection of new technical wear, as well as t-shirts.
  • The Base Camp Building is open to picnickers; however, concessions will be unavailable.
  • The Continental Espresso Bar is open and serving up locally roasted Steep Coffee. Stop in and try it out!
  • With more snow and winter conditions, the remaining terrain will open.
  • Uphill traffic is permitted on Kelly Boyce to Divide Trail during lift operating hours. Purchase your uphill pass at the Ticket Office.

Wolf Creek Ski Area is accepting applications for full-time, part-time and holiday positions in all departments: Lifts, Ski & Snowboard School, Food & Beverage including Bakers & Baristas, Base Operations, Ski & Snowboard Rental, Retail Sport Shop, Ticket Office, Snow Reporting/Guest Services, Ski Patrol, Grooming, Snow Removal, Custodial Building Maintenance and Freelance Photographer.  All jobs are winter seasonal (November – April).  All positions offer skiing privileges and competitive wages starting at $19/hour.
