Wolf Creek Ski Area Opens for the Season

Wolf Creek Ski Area is open for the 2025-2026 ski season with 7-day-a-week operations.

Wolf Creek received 1 inch of new snow overnight, bringing in the latest storm depth to 9 inches for a total of 23 inches in the past 7 days. The year-to-date snowfall total is 33 inches with a midway snow depth of 24 inches.

Lift tickets will be at Local Appreciation rates; $70 for adults, $51 for seniors, and $35 for children. Tickets are reloadable this season, so an initial ticket will have an additional charge of $2.

With more snow and winter conditions, additional terrain and lifts will open.

Treasure, Bonanza, Nova, Tumbler and Lynx Lifts will be operating from 9:00am to 4:00pm, giving access to roughly 20% of the mountain. The Magic Carpet will be open for the Wolf Pup & Wolf Rider Programs.

Machine-groomed trails include Tranquility, Lower Navajo Trail, Powder Puff Valley, Charisma, Turnpike, Bonanza Crossover, Bonanza, Prospector Bowl, Divide Trail/Kelly Boyce, Bunny Hop, Okey Dokey, Flora, Sparkle, Foxy, Spencer’s Run, Nova and Susan’s. Ungroomed trails that are skiing good include the top to bottom of Treasure and Lower Holy Moses.

The Wolf Creek Lodge, our main day lodge, will be open, serving a limited menu including burgers, fries and chili. The Pathfinder Bar will be available for purchasing beer, wine and cocktails. The patrol and ski school will be available. It’s a great time for a private or group lesson. Skis and boards are ready to rent. Treasure Sports has a great selection of new technical wear, as well as t-shirts. Come up for turns, lunch, pick up your pass and enjoy!

The Base Camp Building will be open to picnickers; however, concessions will be unavailable.

The Continental Espresso Bar is debuting for the 2025-26 ski season and is serving up locally roasted Steep Coffee. Stop in and try it out!
