Just two performances left of Thingamajig Theatre Company’s stunning production of Master Class — Saturday, November 15 at 7pm and Sunday, November 16 at 3pm.
Experience the production audiences are calling “jaw-dropping,” “powerful,” and “not to be missed.”
‘Master Class’, by Terrence McNally, is inspired by the real-life Juilliard sessions of legendary opera diva Maria Callas. Set in a classroom where Callas teaches a group of young singers, the play is both blisteringly funny and deeply moving. It reveals a woman at the height of her artistry and the depths of her vulnerability confronting her own legacy, her love for Aristotle Onassis, and her complicated relationship with fame.
Audiences have been captivated by Laura Moore’s electrifying portrayal of Callas, with many describing the performance as “breathtaking” and “emotionally stunning.” One audience member shared that “the room was silent, completely taken in — she had us exactly where she wanted us.”
Presented in Thingamajig’s intimate black box theatre at the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts, Master Class is a rare and unforgettable theatrical experience that has left audiences in awe.
