I can’t believe the “ber” season is already here, and tomorrow is Halloween. Where has the time gone? As a note of safety please watch out for trick or treaters while your driving, and if you have candy please share. Pagosa is offering a few fun events to join in for fun. We have Halloween themed activities today and tomorrow, whether it be a Beetlejuice play or a Trunk or Treat, a good time can be had by all.
Chamber Board Nominations
Thank you to everyone that has applied for a Chamber Board position. Self-nominations are open until November 7. Every year, 6 candidates are presented to the Chamber membership and of those six candidates, 3 are chosen by the membership. There is a board nomination process, and nominations are open to interested Chamber members that have had membership for 1 year. The board commitment includes a 3-year term. The Chamber holds monthly meetings whose date and time is determined every year at the annual board retreat. Board members are also needed to assist at the monthly Business Happy Hours and at events when possible. If you would like to have a better business presence, please submit your application for the nomination process.

Small Business Saturday November 29
Yes, we are participating in this great event in 2025!
The Chamber and Main Street Pagosa are teaming up together to help our retail community through this Holiday Season. We are your Small Business Saturday Neighborhood Champion. The Chamber and Main Street will have marketing materials for you such as bags, posters or window stickers. When these items become available, you can pick them up at the Chamber or we can deliver them to your business. These promotional items are free. In addition, the Chamber will have on the homepage of our website a graphic where the viewer can click on it and a listing of all Chamber member businesses who are participating in Small Business Saturday will be displayed along with their offerings.
If you are part of Small Business Saturday, we will also be running some social media promotions for your business in advance of November 29. There is a little work on your part. Please contact Anna Deering, Membership Coordinator at info@pagosachamber.com or (970) 264-2360 to give us your business name and the promotion you are running and any social media channels you will be focusing on. We will then list your specials and link to your social media outreach.
