Masquerade Fundraiser for Archuleta Seniors a Spirited Success

By Ricardo D. Martinez

The first annual Masquerade Fundraiser for Archuleta Seniors, Inc. was a lively success on Friday, October 24, at the beautiful Keyah Grande. Guests arrived in elegant masquerade ball attire, filling the evening with color, laughter, and community spirit.

The event featured live music, a costume contest, and both live and silent auctions that kept the crowd engaged and entertained throughout the night.

The celebration not only brought joy to attendees but also raised important funds to support the organization’s mission of serving local seniors.

Organizers expressed deep gratitude to the sponsors who made the event possible, including Bank of the San Juans, Pagosa Springs Medical Center, Inter Mountain Propane, Solid Management, KWUF Radio Station, Wednesday’s Bouquet, Knights of Columbus, TBK Bank, Durango Motors, Echo IT Consulting, Scott Strategic Investments, Hometown Insurance, Ruby Osberg, and Mary Tighe. Thanks were also extended to the dedicated board members, staff, and volunteers who helped bring the evening to life.

The proceeds from the fundraiser will directly benefit the health and well-being of Archuleta County’s senior community. Archuleta Seniors, Inc. looks forward to building on this year’s success and making next year’s masquerade an even more memorable celebration.
