The Pagosa Unitarian Universalist Fellowship embraces ways it can be engaged with the movement of our times. Our Action Sunday! embraces a model of Mutual Aid which is based on solidarity and reciprocity, rather than charity, meaning it is help given unconditionally and is intended to benefit everyone involved, We meet the fourth Sundays of the month, and is one way we stay informed and involved with matters that hold our values.
Beginning this Sunday morning, October 26 at 10:30am, we introduce ‘Social Change Now: A Guide for Reflection and Connection’ by Deepa Iyer. We will start with a short video introduction and interview with the author and plan for how we want to engage with the material. If you want to take part but don’t yet have the book, no worries. There is still time to get a copy or download it on an e-reader and join us. Follow this link to learn more about the book: https://uuabookstore.org/products/social-change-now. The Fellowship has a loaning library of the workbook if needed. Simply show up if you’re interested in engaging with this book in a group setting.
